Job description

Arcadis is seeking a Water Wastewater Engineer/Project Manager to lead water and wastewater opportunities in central Virginia from the Richmond office. The role focuses on delivering innovative solutions to complex challenges while managing client relationships and project activities. Requirements

  • 8 or more years of experience in engineering.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • P.E. License and ability to acquire PE Licensure in Virginia within 6 months.
  • Strong team leadership experience and excellent technical engineering capabilities.
  • Exceptional technical writing skills and established relationships with local municipalities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct the development of water and wastewater projects as a client-facing project manager.
  • Manage the planning, design, and construction administration of projects to ensure compliance with contracts and regulations.
  • Communicate with clients to establish goals and objectives for project teams.
  • Provide technical expertise on multi-disciplined projects as a design leader or technical advisor.
  • Supervise and support the work of others while mentoring junior engineers and technical staff.
  • Lead teams in the marketing and proposal phases of projects, including preparation of winning proposals.
