As a Software Engineer on the M365 Air Gapped Clouds team, you will develop internal tools and software solutions that enhance the efficiency of M365 operations in government environments. This role involves writing and shipping code for backend services that support feature delivery and platform evolution. • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
• Candidates must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.

• Learn how to create and implement code for a product, service, or feature while reusing code as applicable.
• Act as a designated responsible individual (DRI) in monitoring a system/product feature/service for degradation and recommend actions to restore service.
• Contribute to operations of live site service with direct supervision, following security best practices.
• Support the identification of dependencies and their incorporation into the development of design documents.
• Review current developments and seek new knowledge to improve the performance of products.
• Contribute to understanding customer/user requirements for a feature and incorporate customer insights into solution fixes.
