The Mechanical HVAC Engineer will focus on delivering innovative HVAC design solutions for Data Center clients within Jacobs' Advanced Manufacturing Group. This role involves working alongside a team of engineers and designers to perform field investigations, interface with clients and vendors, and prepare construction design packages. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems design and will contribute to various projects across multiple industries. • Three or more years of experience in the design of HVAC systems.
• Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to the design of HVAC systems.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Ability to work within a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.

• Layout and design HVAC systems for various types of clients, including electric vehicles and data centers.
• Develop design criteria for HVAC systems, including general comfort heating and cooling.
• Create conceptual design and preliminary design documents, including calculations for sizing and selecting systems.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure project success.
