The Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern position at Jacobs is designed for students pursuing degrees in Civil, Construction, or Environmental Engineering. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of water and wastewater projects, from planning and design to construction. Interns will be part of a collaborative team in Montgomery, Alabama, and will receive mentorship from experienced engineers. The focus is on delivering innovative solutions for both local and global clients.

• Enrollment in a degree-seeking program in Civil, Construction, Environmental, or a closely related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Previous intern experience with a consulting or engineering firm is preferred.
• Relevant coursework or projects related to water/wastewater engineering.
• EIT certification or on track to obtain it.
• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.

• Assist in the delivery of water and wastewater conveyance and treatment projects.
• Conduct field investigations and hydraulic evaluations.
• Prepare cost estimates and utilize GIS and CAD software for design.
• Support data entry, document preparation, and project management tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project success.
