The Senior Mechanical HVAC Engineer will join Jacobs' Building Mechanical team, focusing on delivering innovative HVAC design solutions for heavy industrial clients. This role involves collaborating with a multi-discipline team to meet client needs while ensuring technical quality and adherence to schedules. The engineer will be responsible for field investigations, equipment selection, and preparing construction design packages. The position offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid setup, allowing flexibility in work location.

• At least ten years of experience in the design of HVAC systems for industrial facilities.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to the design of HVAC systems.
• Adaptability to work within a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate with the project team remotely.

• Layout and design HVAC systems.
• Develop conceptual design and preliminary design documents, including calculations for system sizing.
• Create Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and general arrangements.
• Prepare final construction documents associated with HVAC systems.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure project success.
