Job description
The Structural Engineering Intern role at Jacobs involves supporting teams on critical projects in Dallas or Fort Worth, TX. Interns will work alongside professional engineers and designers, gaining valuable exposure to project coordination and relevant engineering software. Requirements
- Must have completed a bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering.
- Must be enrolled in a master’s degree in structural engineering.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and organizational skills are required.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
- Familiarity with US building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC is desired.
Responsibilities
- Support teams on critical structural engineering projects.
- Gain exposure to project coordination and data collection.
- Utilize relevant computer-assisted engineering software.
- Engage with interdisciplinary counterparts and senior leadership.
