Job description
The Principal Quality Engineer role at Apple Services Engineering focuses on enhancing the Quality Engineering organization for Commerce & Growth. This position involves collaborating with leaders to develop quality engineering systems and tests, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products to customers. The team is responsible for qualifying diverse systems that operate at a massive scale, including server APIs and user interfaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and a proven track record in quality leadership.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in the quality engineering space.
- Experience leading large technical organizations through change.
- Expert in the practice of QA/QE with a track record of improving quality through processes, systems, and automation.
- Strong technical leadership and keen architecture sense.
- Experience working with distributed teams across cultures, geography, and timezones.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as computer science, engineering, or mathematics.
