The Senior iOS UX Engineer for the Search App at Google will work within a multi-disciplinary UX team to develop innovative products and prototypes. This role focuses on collaborating with Engineering and Product Management to create user-centered designs that enhance the search experience. The engineer will leverage user insights and technical expertise to deliver high-quality prototypes and tools that bridge design and engineering. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field.
• 6 years of experience in iOS development, technical UX design, and prototyping.
• 3 years of experience in either Swift or Objective-C.
• Experience with vibe coding tools such as AI Studio, Cursor, Antigravity, and Firebase Studio.
• Knowledge of technical constraints in designing for iOS.

• Test concepts for iteration, research, and validation by delivering engaging prototypes across a portfolio of products.
• Identify emerging needs and develop interaction design best practices.
• Manage or contribute to key projects to ensure successful outcomes.
• Develop and define approaches that optimize the implementation of design intent.
• Advocate for user needs across platforms and applications using a holistic systems-thinking approach.
