The Pricing Analyst role at GEICO is designed for highly motivated individuals seeking a career in Specialty Pricing. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Math, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Data/Business Analytics, or a relevant quantitative field, or any degree with prior experience in quantitative analytics.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Must live within commutable distance from the Bethesda, MD office and work a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities
- Develop and prepare statistical analyses of underwriting or claims experience for ratemaking.
- Conduct rate reviews, create filings, and implement rate changes for various business segments.
- Develop and present analysis and proposals to stakeholder groups.
- Develop relationships with product management to learn business strategy.
- Develop and improve tools to streamline processes and enhance analytics.
