Apple's Display Technologies group is seeking experienced Mechanical Engineers to design and develop innovative display modules for future products. The role involves creating next-generation technologies and integrating them into robust display designs. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers to resolve issues and deliver high-quality displays. A strong background in mechanical engineering and a passion for consumer electronics are essential.

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Expertise in mechanical engineering fundamentals including properties of materials, solid mechanics, and thermodynamics.
• Experience leading mechanical design and validation.
• Proficiency in 3D/2D software such as Pro/E, NX, CATIA, or Solidworks.
• Experience with simulation and analysis tools like Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
• Familiarity with Six Sigma methodology and data analysis using JMP, MATLAB, or Minitab.
• Electro-mechanical design experience for high-volume products.
• Experience creating and applying AI/ML tools for mechanical engineering workflows.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and statistical tolerance analysis.

• Design and develop innovative display modules for future products.
• Integrate next-generation technologies into mechanically robust display designs.
• Act as a focal point among cross-functional teams and suppliers to resolve issues.
• Lead technical projects from qualification to production.
• Develop component or material evaluation tests.
• Create and modify engineering drawings.
