The Innovation & Design Engineer will lead the development of drone delivery operations site designs for Amazon Prime Air. This role involves integrating with cross-functional teams across various domains including drone engineering and operations. The engineer will focus on mechanical and electrical design, ensuring that site layouts meet diverse requirements. The position offers the opportunity to innovate and improve delivery operations as the team scales.

• 5+ years of design and innovation, research and development work experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience with design and innovation and research and development
• Experience in management of engineering design projects
• Experience using business or technical software like MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software
• Knowledge of system architecture, optimization, and system dynamics
• Experience with complex automated material handling equipment and packaging technologies
• Experience with design-in-safety
• Experience in aviation operations and/or airport construction and operations
• Experience in robotics or automation

• Lead the development of drone delivery operations site designs
