The Software Development Engineer will join the Discovery Insights Foundry (DIF) team within Amazon Vulnerability Management Services (AVMS) to build AI-driven reporting tools for senior leadership. This role combines full-stack software engineering with AI/ML and data engineering to enhance vulnerability management insights across AWS. The engineer will work closely with security and data engineers to create a unified view of the organization's security posture. • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#

• Design and review architecture for software systems
• Develop software features in Java and Python using AWS services
• Set and achieve high standards for operational excellence
• Build partnerships with technical stakeholders across Amazon
• Conduct system resilience testing and preparation
• Plan software projects using Agile methodologies
