As an Amazon Fleet Remediation Project Design Electrical Engineer, you will lead design projects in operational data centers to remediate issues, upgrade existing infrastructure, or add new services. You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and specialists to ensure the highest standards for safety and security while providing capacity at the lowest possible cost. This role requires strong engineering judgment and the ability to manage multiple projects across various geographical regions. You will be the go-to engineering resource for lifecycle support from design through implementation.

• 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering experience in mission critical facilities such as data centers.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer License.
• Experience with building codes and regulations for your region.
• Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents.

• Own the design for existing data center upgrades and design solutions that improve availability and sustainability.
• Prepare and review short circuit coordination studies and maintain software models to match as-built site conditions.
• Perform design and equipment submittal reviews for Data Centers in your region.
• Interface with internal and external design engineering teams to promote standards for consistency and reliability.
• Act as a technical subject matter expert during new remediation projects.
