• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of IT Security experience.
• Knowledge of industry-based security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques.
• Experience in scripting, programming, and security code reviewing in a common programming language.
• Experience applying threat modeling or other risk identification techniques.
• Experience in troubleshooting systems issues, analyzing logs, or automating basic tasks using command line tools.
• Experience performing security activities across one or more phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP(S), DNS, and TCP/IP.
• 5+ years of scripting, programming, or security code review in a common language, such as Python, Java or C++.
• 4+ years of experience in threat modeling, secure coding, identity management, software development, cryptography, system administration, or network security.
• Experience with AWS products and services.

• Design, build, and deploy AI/ML-powered solutions to scale vulnerability management operations.
• Perform vulnerability assessments with business context, evaluating blast radius and potential impact.
• Engineer high-quality, scalable vulnerability detection mechanisms.
• Design, build, and maintain automated workflows and tooling to reduce manual toil.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting across vulnerability and asset data.
• Drive remediation outcomes by collaborating with engineering teams across multiple organizations.
• Own security remediation campaigns end-to-end including scoping affected owners and tracking progress.
• Manage security exception processes and evaluate risk justifications.
• Perform security code reviews and validate remediation fixes in code.
• Maintain operational metrics, reporting dashboards, and executive-level risk summaries.
• Maintain clear documentation of processes, review outcomes, and security decisions.
