Apple is seeking a DevOps Specialist to join its global engineering team. This role focuses on shaping the infrastructure that supports development workflows and enhancing the performance, scalability, security, and stability of environments. The specialist will work closely with developers to automate tasks, support tool releases, and ensure smooth rollouts. Occasional weekend work and on-call duties may be required.

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Systems Administration
• Expertise with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and macOS
• Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with cloud platforms and Infrastructure as Code tools
• Solid understanding of CI/CD fundamentals and hands-on Jenkins experience
• Experience with Gerrit and Git
• Proficiency with Python and Shell scripting
• Familiarity with AI/ML tools in development and operations workflows
• Strong root-cause analysis and incident response skills

• Setup and maintain development environments for engineering teams
• Provide expert-level support across the end-to-end application landscape
• Automate manual tasks related to release deployments and system maintenance
• Investigate and introduce new technologies to enhance infrastructure
• Design and deploy new features in collaboration with developers
• Support the configuration and deployment of new tool releases
• Ensure smooth rollouts across the stack
• Work within a follow-the-sun model alongside a distributed global team
