The Product Systems Quality team is seeking a motivated engineer to test and optimize power efficiency for new Mac technologies. This role focuses on delivering exceptional battery life while contributing to environmental sustainability by reducing the carbon footprint of Apple products. The engineer will work closely with a cross-functional team, including software developers, QA engineers, and hardware engineers. The position requires analytical skills and a passion for solving complex problems in a dynamic environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience is preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in a QA, Quality, or Testing environment, with a preference for Power QA.
• Understanding of computer architecture, operating system concepts, and power management fundamentals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in test planning, validation, and issue resolution with engineering teams.
• Coding and scripting experience, preferably in Python and shell.
