Apple is looking for a Senior iOS Software Engineer to enhance the iCloud platform by designing and implementing key components of its cloud services infrastructure. This role involves collaborating with skilled teams to ensure strong privacy guarantees and developing secure, private cloud solutions. The engineer will work on both low-level and system-level tasks, contributing to the creation of new applications and scaling existing ones. • 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong programming skills in Swift and/or Objective-C
• Experience building on Apple Platforms such as macOS, iOS, watchOS, and tvOS
• Experience working with and building system-level frameworks and APIs
• Experience with client-server architectures and network protocols in a distributed system
• Proven track record of working on rapid development cycles and shipping software on tight schedules
• Excellent communication skills
• Bachelor's degree or above in an engineering-related field or equivalent related experience
• Experience with Swift concurrency
• Experience with security, privacy, and cryptography concepts
• Experience with event-based programming and/or inter-process communication is a plus
• Ability to build relationships in highly cross-functional environments
