The role is for engineers in Apple's Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) organization, specifically within Infrastructure Services. This team is responsible for managing data center equipment and systems to deliver compute, storage, and networking services. Engineers will design, build, and operate next-generation services that support one of the world's largest cloud infrastructures. The position requires a passion for solving complex distributed systems problems and optimizing high-performance systems.

• Strong proficiency in systems programming languages such as C++, Go, or C.
• Solid foundation in Computer Science fundamentals including advanced data structures, algorithms, memory management, and concurrency.
• Deep knowledge of Networking Fundamentals and Dataplane internals including L2–L4 protocols and TCP/IP stack behavior.
• Experience with source control (Git) and modern build/configuration management tools.
• 8+ years of experience with kernel-bypass/accelerated packet processing technologies.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

• Design, build, and operate next-generation services that power virtualized networks, computing, and storage.
• Analyze and debug complex live production incidents under pressure using metrics, traces, and system logs.
• Optimize line-rate forwarding pipelines and scalable network data plane components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technology operates flawlessly.
• Take ownership and lead projects to closure.
