The Senior Architect for GPUs and SoCs will join NVIDIA's Architecture Modelling group, focusing on innovating in graphics and parallel computing. This role involves working with world-class architects to model, analyze, and validate chip architectures that enhance performance and efficiency. The position requires collaboration across various modeling teams and mentoring younger engineers. The ideal candidate will contribute to developing AI-based tools and improving GPU architecture.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of relevant work experience, or MS with 5+ years of experience, or PhD with 2+ years of experience.
• Strong programming ability in C++ and C, with a good understanding of build systems, toolchains, and libraries.
• Computer Architecture background with experience in modeling using SystemC and TLM preferred.
• Familiarity with Docker, Jenkins, Python, and Perl.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Model and analyze graphics and/or SOC algorithms and features.
• Document, design, and develop tools to analyze, simulate, validate, and verify models.
• Familiarize with different models used at NVIDIA and assist with feature implementation.
• Develop tests, test plans, and testing infrastructure for new architectures and features.
• Conduct code coverage analysis and reporting.
• Mentor younger engineers and promote good coding practices.
• Learn about newer modeling techniques and frameworks, and evaluate solutions for team needs.
• Help develop AI-based tools to increase efficiency.
