As a CPU Logic Design Engineer at Intel, you will be instrumental in developing next-generation microprocessors that enhance computing solutions across various industries. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a relevant STEM degree.
- 3+ months of experience in CPU Logic Design.
- 3+ months of experience in Computer Architecture and/or Microprocessors.
- 3+ months of experience in Digital design and/or RTL coding.
- 3+ months of experience in Verilog/System Verilog and/or VHDL.
- 3+ months of experience in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or TCL.
Responsibilities
- Develop logic design and register transfer level (RTL) coding for CPU components.
- Participate in defining architecture and microarchitecture features to optimize CPU performance.
- Write RTL and employ strategies to meet power, performance, area, and timing goals.
- Review and refine verification plans and tests to ensure correct implementation of design features.
- Resolve failing RTL tests and implement corrective measures to meet design specifications.
- Document microarchitectural specifications for CPU features and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Support SoC customers to achieve seamless integration of the CPU block into larger designs.
