Job description
Intel's Foundry System Technology team is looking for a Research Engineer Intern to contribute to semiconductor innovation. The intern will focus on developing System Technology Co-optimisation methodologies and evaluating advanced packaging techniques. This role provides an opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies that influence Intel's semiconductor processing roadmap. Ideal candidates are top-tier university students with a passion for semiconductor manufacturing.
Requirements
- Active Ph.D. candidacy in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Architecture and Design, or a similar field.
- 1-2+ years of research experience in system architecture modelling, digital circuit analysis and design, or VLSI physical layout.
- Familiarity with IC design and physical layout tools such as Cadence Virtuoso or Synopsis Fusion Compiler.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance STCO methodologies.
- Perform system-level evaluations of novel devices and integration schemes.
- Collaborate with diverse teams to drive innovation across various applications.
