The Senior Engineering Manager will lead the Noise & Intelligence pod within the Core Mobile team at Salesforce, focusing on enhancing the mobile experience for Slack users. This role involves managing a globally distributed team of iOS and Android engineers and fostering a high-trust environment for impactful work. The manager will collaborate with product managers and designers to ensure quality execution and drive data-driven investments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering and a passion for creating best-in-class mobile experiences.

• You have led engineering teams for 4+ years building high performance web or mobile applications.
• You have strong software engineering fundamentals with previous experience as a Senior+ iOS or Android engineer.
• You have experience managing engineers across a wide time-zone gap.
• You have an understanding of how AI software development tooling can be deployed for maximum team impact.
• You have a history of using your technical experience to make decisions while weighing stability, performance, velocity, and user experience.

• Own the culture of the team and build a high-trust environment for impactful work.
• Partner with PMs and Designers on planning, dependencies, timelines, and risks.
• Set a high bar for execution and define measures for quality across both platforms.
• Drive the team to make data-driven investments while ensuring security, accessibility, and performance.
