The role is for students completing a bachelor's or master's degree who are looking to start their engineering careers at DoorDash. You will be part of a global team that focuses on building reliable and scalable technology to enhance the experiences of consumers, merchants, and delivery partners. The engineering team addresses complex challenges in a three-sided marketplace, contributing to both product experiences and backend systems. This position offers mentorship and the opportunity to work on real products while developing technical skills.

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, graduating between Fall 2026 and Summer 2027.
• At least two previous software engineering internships or equivalent practical experience, with no more than two years of full-time professional experience.
• Experience using at least one object-oriented programming language, such as Python, Java, or Kotlin.
• A solid understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Experience working with databases and technologies such as SQL.
• Experience writing clean code, using version control, and creating unit tests.

• Develop, maintain, and ship production-ready software with support from your mentor and team.
• Write clean, testable code and contribute to code reviews, version control, and engineering best practices.
• Learn the systems and technical areas your work contributes to, including how they operate at scale.
• Apply feedback and coaching to strengthen your technical skills and problem-solving approach.
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional partners to solve problems for consumers, merchants, and delivery partners.
