DoorDash is seeking experienced engineers for their Software Engineer internship program, which focuses on developing a reliable on-demand logistics engine for delivery. Interns will work closely with their teams to create user-friendly solutions and scalable backend architectures that enhance the experiences of consumers, merchants, and dashers. This 12-week program offers hands-on experience in a collaborative environment, allowing interns to make a direct impact on the business. The internship will be hosted in-person at various locations across the U.S.

• Pursuing a B.S. or M.S. Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Graduating between Fall 2027 to Summer 2028.
• Available for a May or June 2027 start date.
• Experience working with databases such as AWS or SQL.
• Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Proficient experience in at least one object-oriented programming language like Python, Java, or Kotlin.
• Experience writing clean code and working with version control.

• Develop, maintain, and ship technical elements with support from mentors and team members.
• Act on feedback and coaching from mentors and team members.
• Learn about the elements to which you contribute.
• Collaborate with your team to solve real problems for customers.
• Participate in intern programming including leadership speaker series and social events.
• Present summer learnings during a final presentation at the end of the internship.
