As an Android Engineer on the Social team at Robinhood, you will build and enhance Android experiences that foster customer engagement with investing. The team focuses on creating a network for active traders, emphasizing real relationships and content-rich interactions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end features, utilizing modern technologies like Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of finance through innovative mobile solutions.

• 3+ years of professional Android development experience building consumer Android applications at scale, preferably in Kotlin and Compose.
• Attention to detail and a passion for writing clean, readable, and maintainable code.
• Proficiency in Kotlin or Java, and Jetpack.
• Strong product sense and ability to collaborate with Product Managers and Designers.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for solving technical challenges.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred; equivalent training or work experience also acceptable.

• Work with a fast-growing team to revolutionize finance at speed and scale.
• Build smooth, stable, and elegant products with Kotlin and the newest Android APIs.
• Own features from inception to design, implementation, and launch.
