The Instrumentation and Controls Engineer will be part of Jacobs' Northwest team in Bellevue, focusing on innovative solutions for municipal water challenges. This role involves working on various projects from design to onsite startup, utilizing the company's extensive technical resources. The engineer will lead the development of critical documentation and coordinate with other engineering disciplines. Additionally, this position offers opportunities for mentoring junior engineers and engaging in international work.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited university or college.
• Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) or ability to obtain.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in I&C Systems Integration design.
• Experience in Process & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) development.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Lead the development of Process & Instrumentation Drawings (P&IDs), control narratives, specifications, network drawings, panel drawings, and instrument selection.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines for a cohesive design.
• Mentor junior engineers both domestically and globally.
• Develop control system software in Programmable Logic Controllers and Human Machine Interfaces.
• Review construction submittals and conduct site evaluations.
