The Technical Enablement Specialist Intern will join the IBM Z WSC Advisory team, which supports IBM Z and IBM LinuxONE clients. This role focuses on guiding clients in making informed technology decisions through analysis and storytelling. The intern will specialize in mainframe subsystems, particularly in networking, routing, and security. This position offers exposure to enterprise-class systems and real client environments.

• Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C.
• Basic knowledge of networking and routing.
• Familiarity with enterprise operating systems and IT infrastructure.
• Understanding of AI tools for productivity.
• Advanced capabilities in Microsoft Suite, especially for content presentation.
• Familiarity with project management frameworks and tools.
• Desire to collaborate cross-functionally in a large organization.

• Conduct in-depth analysis of client environments and deliver tailored technical recommendations.
• Coordinate with development teams to address client requests.
• Engage with formal support resources to stay informed on client priorities and open issues.
• Support account teams in network-specific client engagements.
• Help design and execute communications server enablement workshops for clients and business partners.
• Assist in developing client-facing conference and education materials for IBM Z events.
• Aid in designing comm server-related labs for clients and internal teams.
• Support workflow management of incoming projects using approved project management tools.
• Contribute to the development of client education and nurture pathways focused on z/OS Communications Server.
