• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
• 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience designing large-scale distributed systems incorporating both cloud and edge compute
• Experience with material handling equipment, industrial control systems, and fulfillment operations

• Solve ambiguous business problems and map them to well-designed technical solutions
• Design, develop, launch, and own back-end systems with high availability and data volumes
• Apply the right patterns, data structures, and algorithms to build systems at Amazon scale
• Quickly adapt to a fast-paced development environment with a bias towards simple and extensible code
