Job description
The Engineering Project Manager (EPM) will support the Watch Product Design organization by managing technical projects and assisting engineering development. This role requires a strong Mechanical Engineering background to effectively drive daily activities and meet program objectives. The EPM will focus on system-level mechanical engineering design, overseeing development planning and validation cycles. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and possess excellent communication skills.
Requirements
- Engineering degree or equivalent required; BSME preferred
- 2+ years prior product development experience in project management or mechanical engineering design
- Detailed knowledge of product development process and cycles
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals and manufacturing processes
- Experience interfacing with mechanical engineering/design, operations, and vendors
- Experience setting up project schedules and work breakdown structures
- Excellent communication, presentation, organizational and leadership skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, oriented toward teamwork
- Self motivated and proactive, demonstrating creative and critical thinking capabilities
- Ability to travel internationally to support builds
Responsibilities
