NVIDIA is seeking a senior networking engineer to lead the network architecture for GPU superclusters within the Managed AI Research Superclusters (MARS) team. This role focuses on scaling the infrastructure that supports advanced AI/ML systems across multiple clouds. The engineer will tackle complex networking challenges as the platform expands to clusters of ten thousand nodes and beyond. The position requires deep expertise in Kubernetes networking and a strong understanding of modern networking topologies.

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of professional experience in systems, network or infrastructure software engineering
• Deep command of Kubernetes networking architecture and CNI standards, with production experience operating Calico strongly preferred
• Proficiency designing and maintaining modern mesh and VPN networking topologies such as Tailscale and WireGuard
• Strong Linux networking fundamentals including routing, netfilter and iptables/nftables
• Demonstrated ability to debug distributed network problems at scale
• Proficiency in Go, Python, C or a comparable systems language
• Clear written and verbal communication skills

• Be the technical owner of how clusters communicate internally and externally
• Own and evolve the Kubernetes networking architecture for GPU clusters running at multi-thousand-node scale
• Design, operate and scale the overlay network including CNI, mesh and VPN topologies
• Design, operate and scale the L7 gateways/load balancers/tunnels
• Find and eliminate scale ceilings such as packet loss and control-plane saturation
• Build scale-test environments and validation suites to catch networking regressions
• Diagnose complex problems across the stack related to networking
• Partner with cloud providers on network topology and capabilities
