NVIDIA is seeking a Software/CAD Tool Engineer to join their Circuits Solutions Group. This role focuses on developing solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency in custom circuit designs. The engineer will collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure robust designs that impact all product lines. The position involves full life-cycle tool development and the application of good software engineering practices.

• B.Sc./M.Sc. preferred in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Good programming skills in multiple languages such as C++, Tcl, and Python
• Prior experience with tool development including GUI, database management, testing, and deployment
• Familiarity with different AI models for code development and code reviews

• Work within a multi-functional team on various projects involving Pre-silicon and Post Silicon hardware design and related data
• Support projects with applications ranging from silicon data analysis to timing analysis
• Employ good software engineering practices to develop leading-edge EDA/CAD tools for chip development
• Work closely with Backend engineers to support existing development infrastructure and identify improvements
• Be directly responsible for the full life-cycle of tool development including design, testing, and maintenance
