This role involves building AI-powered vertical advertising products from the ground up within a startup team at Amazon Advertising. The focus is on creating innovative, full-funnel advertising solutions for various strategic verticals such as financial services and automotive. You will work closely with Principal Engineers and Scientists to address complex business problems and develop scalable system architectures. • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience with design patterns, reliability, and scaling
• 1+ years of experience as a software development engineer or in a related role
• 1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and code reviews
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

• Design, develop, launch, and maintain AI-powered advertising solutions that simplify the advertiser experience
• Design and build end-to-end services and platforms from the ground up
• Partner with Principal Engineers and Scientists to translate ambiguous business problems into scalable system architectures
• Collaborate cross-functionally across engineering, science, and product teams to deliver integrated solutions
• Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to accelerate product development
• Mentor peers and contribute to engineering best practices
