NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Deep Learning Engineer to join the Cosmos Engineering team, which focuses on developing foundational capabilities for Physical AI models. The role involves owning the data engine and ensuring the quality of training data for 3D spatial reasoning and perception. The engineer will collaborate closely with research scientists to translate hypotheses into measurable capabilities. This position is critical for enhancing the quality of frontier models through rigorous data management and evaluation.

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Robotics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of proven experience building deep learning systems in Python with PyTorch or JAX on Linux.
• Deep expertise in 3D computer vision, multi-view geometry, structure-from-motion or SLAM, and depth estimation.
• Hands-on experience with vision-language models and building training data that improves visual grounding.
• Demonstrated experience building large-scale multimodal data pipelines and automated quality metrics.
• Experience running and validating large model training on multi-GPU, multi-node clusters.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Own the 3D data engine for Cosmos spatial reasoning by sourcing and curating large-scale image and video corpora.
• Build annotation and auto-labeling pipelines for producing 3D-grounded supervision at scale.
• Ensure data quality end to end through automated quality scoring and coverage analysis.
• Verify end-to-end model training by validating pre-training and fine-tuning pipelines.
• Build and operate the 3D and spatial evaluation suite and public benchmarks.
• Partner closely with Cosmos Lab research scientists to translate research hypotheses into experiments.
• Operate on large multi-node GPU clusters to optimize data throughput and performance.
• Ship results into Cosmos releases and open-source datasets while raising data and evaluation rigor.
