The Senior Software Engineering Manager for the Geo Software Development Acceleration Team at Google will lead a global organization of approximately 15 software engineers. This role focuses on enhancing the infrastructure and tools for the automotive industry, particularly in the areas of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving. The manager will set technical direction, influence across teams, and mentor engineers while ensuring the development of high-quality systems. The team is dedicated to building accurate and useful mapping products that serve over a billion users monthly.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 7 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks.
• 5 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.
• Experience with Machine Learning (ML), Generative AI, Reinforcement Learning, or Large Language Models (LLMs).

• Lead, manage, and scale a global engineering organization of approximately 15 software engineers.
• Refine and elevate engineering infrastructure for OEMs and the broader auto industry.
• Drive the team's technical strategy for enhancing developer velocity across Geo Auto.
• Advocate the integration and development of Generative AI and Large Language Models into developer workflows.
