The Senior Network Engineer role at Google focuses on enhancing the Google Enterprise Network infrastructure. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience with network routing protocols, design, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in one or more programming languages such as C++, Go, or Python.
• Experience with networking technologies/protocols including VXLAN, BGP EVPN, and Encryption.
• Experience with enterprise data center network design and operations in a global environment.

• Lead the requirement analysis, engineering design, and development of solutions for Google’s Enterprise network infrastructure.
• Deliver secure and dependable network services by scaling systems sustainably through tools and automation.
• Partner collaboratively across business units to analyze requirements and develop solutions.
• Coach peer engineers through effective knowledge transfer and cross-training.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation for SME Tier 3 support as needed.
