Job description

This role focuses on enhancing manufacturing processes, planning logistics, and managing purchasing systems within a supply chain context. The position requires collaboration with engineering teams to identify and solve product performance issues while also improving production efficiency. Additionally, it involves developing strategies for supply chain operations and ensuring customer expectations are met. The ideal candidate will engage in continuous improvement initiatives and support purchasing system strategies.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be enrolled full-time at an accredited U.S. college or university.
  • A minimum GPA of 2.5 is required.
  • Students must be able to manage their academic responsibilities without compromising job performance.
  • F-1 visa students must have approved Curricular Practical Training (CPT) or Occupational Practical Training (OPT).

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the planning, design, purchase, and implementation of manufacturing processes.
  • Work with engineering to identify and recommend solutions for product performance issues.
  • Plan and maintain daily supply chain operations in functional areas such as demand and warehousing.
  • Monitor and analyze planning system parameters to optimize operations.
  • Provide support for purchasing system strategy and analyze opportunities for improvement.
  • Train internal customers on purchasing systems and support the electronic sourcing process.
