Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Staff / Manager in DevOps Engineering to enhance DevOps capabilities across the organization. This role is essential for ensuring efficient software and firmware delivery through the design of robust CI/CD pipelines and effective source control management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in DevOps principles and server firmware/software ecosystems, providing both hands-on contributions and technical leadership. The position requires collaboration with development teams to standardize tools and processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience, or a Master's degree with 5+ years, or a PhD with 4+ years.
• 3+ years of work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
• 12+ years of experience in Software, Firmware, or Systems Engineering.
• 3+ years of demonstrated experience as a DevOps Engineer or technical leader.

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and GitHub Actions.
• Own and administer source control management platforms including GitLab and Perforce.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate and support requirements management and issue tracking tools.
• Develop and maintain build systems and scripts for software compilation and delivery.
• Implement and manage configuration management and automation frameworks such as Ansible and Chef.
• Enable and support static code analysis and code quality using industry-standard tools.
• Define and enforce branching strategies and release workflows for multi-team development.
• Serve as a DevOps subject-matter expert, coaching development teams on best practices.
• Collaborate with firmware and platform teams on server firmware/software stacks.
• Develop and maintain automation and tooling using Shell scripting and Python.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers in DevOps strategy.
