Job description
The role involves independently planning and executing responsibilities related to the Physical Design Flow for high-speed DDR and graphics in system-on-chip (SoC) products. The focus is on power utilization and optimization, ensuring that design features positively impact power and performance. The individual will contribute to various physical verification checks and support cross-functional engineering efforts. This position requires strong participation in design reviews and project meetings.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related degree field
- Experience in Physical Design Flow, including Floor Planning, Clock Tree Synthesis, and Place and Route
Responsibilities
- Perform floor planning, clock tree synthesis, place and route, and timing analysis and closure.
- Conduct various physical verification checks such as LVS, DRC, and design-for-manufacturing.
- Provide schedules and support cross-functional engineering efforts to achieve signoff closure for tapeout.
- Act as a strong contributor during design reviews and project meetings.
