Job description
The SAP Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Manager role at EY focuses on leading complex product lifecycle transformation initiatives within the Technology Consulting practice. This position emphasizes improving product innovation, engineering collaboration, and product data governance through SAP PLM solutions. The manager will work closely with clients to enhance their operations and ensure successful implementation of integrated SAP PLM solutions. This role requires collaboration across various business and technology teams to achieve optimal results.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree (4-year degree) is required.
- Typically, no less than 4-6 years of experience delivering SAP-enabled product lifecycle, engineering, and manufacturing transformation initiatives in complex enterprise environments is necessary.
- At least 3 years of experience with SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and/or SAP S/4 HANA, including SAP Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills are essential.
- A flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs, with travel estimated at 40-60%, is expected.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, design, implementation, and support of SAP Product Lifecycle Management solutions across the enterprise.
- Partner with engineering, product development, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, regulatory, and IT stakeholders to improve product data and document management processes.
- Own the SAP PLM roadmap and translate business priorities into a clear portfolio of process, data, integration, and technology initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders to document current-state processes and define future-state capabilities.
- Manage functional consultants, developers, data resources, testing teams, system integrators, and third-party vendors.
