Citi is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Engineer to enhance its proprietary Margin Calculations and Reporting Platform within the Prime Finance Services organization. This role focuses on engineering quality throughout the product lifecycle by building scalable automation and driving testing strategies. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering teams to ensure high-quality software delivery in a collaborative environment. • 6+ years of testing experience with hands-on experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in Java and familiarity with both legacy and modern JDKs.
• Excellent knowledge of software testing techniques and tools.
• Strong communication and diplomacy skills to influence peers and stakeholders.
• Experience with automation frameworks using Typescript or JavaScript on Node.js.

• Design and implement modular and scalable automation frameworks aligned with engineering standards.
• Develop BDD-aligned automated tests using Cucumber and the bank's standardized testing frameworks.
• Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines to enforce quality gates.
• Analyze test failures to improve signal quality and provide actionable diagnostics.
• Partner with developers and business analysts to shape requirements and define acceptance criteria.
