Job description
As a NAND ATE Test Engineer, you will be part of a world-class team responsible for testing, failure analysis, and qualification of SSD programs. Your role will involve crafting and building technology that ensures Apple products operate seamlessly. You will work closely with HW Engineers to identify and resolve risks associated with NAND qualification and testing. This position requires a strong focus on generating test programs and scripts to support these efforts.
Requirements
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience
- Experience with memory automated test equipment (ATE), including Advantest, Teradyne, or equivalent platforms
- Experience in C/C++ and scripting languages such as Python, Lua, or MATLAB
- Understanding of Electronic Engineering Fundamentals including Signal and Power Integrity
- Experience with failure analysis and troubleshooting
- Experience with embedded system integration and development
- Experience with PCIe, SSD controllers, and firmware
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the testing and qualification of various SSD programs
- Generate test programs and scripts for NAND validation and reliability testing
- Identify and resolve potential risks for all aspects of NAND qualification and testing
- Ensure world-class solutions to demanding test and engineering challenges
- Work with test equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
