Job description
As a NAND Product Engineer at Apple, you will play a crucial role in defining mass storage solutions for Apple's world-class products. This position offers an extraordinary opportunity to leverage your expertise in flash memory processes and device engineering. You will work closely with external suppliers and drive projects to closure within large, multi-functional teams. Your contributions will directly impact the future capabilities of Apple's products.
Requirements
- B.S. degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in NAND development, specifically with product engineering, design, and/or process integration aspects of the technology.
- Experience with NAND failure analysis, testing, and/or debug efforts.
- MS or PhD in a technical subject area and 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Ability to perform hands-on measurements of NAND array and connect single-cycle transistor properties to full product operation.
- Experience across multiple-lithos spanning basic device definition through final qualification.
- Understanding of key NAND system specifications, with respect to embedded NAND and SSD solutions.
- Experience in failure analysis of NAND storage issues.
- Experience with NAND flash engineering, flash memory technology, and processing.
- 3-D NAND development experience.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
