Job description
Join Apple's wireless silicon development team, focusing on energy-efficient design and innovative technologies that enhance user experience. The role involves delivering an RF integration end-to-end solution and facilitating the transition from design development to mass production. You will work closely with a vertically integrated engineering team across various domains, including RF/Analog architecture and design. This position offers the opportunity to deepen your technical expertise in both hardware and software related to wireless transceiver architecture and RF systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3+ years of industry experience.
- Solid experience in RF parametric testing, including IP3, NF, ACPR, and phase noise.
- Strong working knowledge of RF test equipment such as network analyzers and spectrum analyzers.
- Familiarity with RF systems fundamentals and RF transceiver architectures.
- Proficiency in understanding RFIC block-level design schematics.
- Some experience in RF PCB board design, debug, and development.
- Python programming language experience is highly desired.
- Experience with embedded systems and C programming language.
- Experience in automation framework development.
Responsibilities
- Deliver an RF integration end-to-end solution including DUT control development and pre-silicon emulation.
- Enable different phases from design development toward mass production of Apple products.
- Conduct Wireless SoC-RF bring-up at the first touch and validate final silicon results.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards during the validation process.
- Develop technical depth in hardware and software domains related to wireless technologies.
