This role is for a high-impact engineer in Nashville, focused on designing world-class fulfillment centers and logistics systems. The engineer will collaborate with internal and external teams to create cost-effective solutions while managing multiple projects from concept to design approval. The position involves acting as the primary technical contact for suppliers and supporting the installation and commissioning of designed systems. The engineer will work in a fast-paced environment, tackling a variety of projects across North America and Europe.

• 5+ years of design and innovation, research and development work experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a foreign equivalent
• Experience with design and innovation and research and development
• Experience in management of engineering design projects
• Experience using business or technical software like MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software
• 5+ years of specialty experience with progressive responsibility
• Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field
• Knowledge of system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, system analysis, statistical analysis, reliability analysis, electronic system design, and decision making
• Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and high-speed manufacturing
• Experience with design-in-safety

• Collaborate with internal and external teams to design high quality, cost effective solutions for fulfillment and distribution systems.
• Own multiple projects simultaneously from concept realization through design approval.
• Act as the primary point of technical contact for suppliers on projects.
• Support the Ops Engineering team during the installation and commissioning of designed systems.
• Design fulfillment centers, cross-dock facilities, specialty facilities, and transportation centers throughout North America and Europe.
• Work on a variety of template-based and designed-from-scratch projects.
