The role is focused on building core platform primitives and frameworks for the Ads Platform Foundations team at Netflix. This team is dedicated to accelerating development across the Ads organization by providing scalable UI infrastructure and foundational workflows. The position requires collaboration with domain teams to understand their needs and shape the platform's roadmap. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in GenAI and a strong background in software engineering.

• Real, hands-on GenAI experience in enterprise contexts, not limited to coding assistants or developer tools.
• Experience building platforms, frameworks, or SDKs consumed by other engineering teams.
• Demonstrated high shipping velocity with a track record of quickly building and launching new systems.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals including production-grade systems, API/SDK design, and backend engineering.
• Experience with agent-system building blocks such as tool/function calling, orchestration, and retrieval-augmented generation.

• Design and build core platform primitives that other domain teams can use.
• Define APIs/SDKs and integration patterns for domain teams to utilize enterprise use cases.
• Build and iterate on the platform's tool/function-calling framework and memory subsystems.
• Explore entity/knowledge graphs as a shared context layer for multiple agents on the platform.
• Partner with domain teams to understand their use cases and shape the platform's building blocks.
• Own platform reliability and evaluation tooling for other teams' agents.
• Ship fast by taking prototypes to platform primitives with tight iteration cycles.
