The Software Development Engineer Test (SDET) role at AWS Applied AI Solutions focuses on developing and growing a portfolio of interactive graphics applications in the cloud. Candidates will work in a distributed team environment, primarily based in Seattle, and will be involved in ensuring the quality of code and final products delivered to customers. • 2+ years of non-internship professional software development testing experience
• 1+ years of test automation frameworks and tools building experience
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
• Experience designing or supporting low-maintenance automation frameworks
• Experience in platform-level security mitigations and hardening for Linux and Windows
• Knowledge of overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance in a database environment
• Experience with security in service-oriented architectures and web services

• Design and develop tools, frameworks, and testing infrastructure to facilitate the testing and development cycles.
• Analyze requirements, assess testability, and identify automation opportunities for projects.
• Participate in design and code review, as well as test tools and frameworks review.
• Lead efforts towards simplifying test tools and technologies in terms of efficiency, effectiveness, stability, extensibility, and scalability.
