The Amazon ECS team is looking for a Software Development Engineer to join their development team focused on the ECS Control Plane. This role involves collaborating with various teams across AWS to build innovative technologies that support containerized microservices. The team is particularly focused on enabling more ML/AI workloads on ECS and aims to abstract infrastructure management for AWS customers. This is an exciting opportunity to influence the development of features for customers adopting serverless containers.

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and operations
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

• Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary teams to design and bring innovative products to market.
• Design and build technologies in a large distributed computing environment.
• Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems.
• Build scalable, fault-tolerant, and easy-to-manage distributed storage and query systems.
• Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
