• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience.
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one modern language such as C++, Java, Scala, or Python.
• 2+ years of experience in AWS technologies, such as Batch, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, and SQS.
• MS in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Genomics, or a related field is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience with scientific software such as bioinformatics tools or data visualization libraries.
• Experience in databases like NoSQL or PostgreSQL and strong analytical skills.

• Design and build scalable ML inference pipelines in collaboration with scientists and engineers.
• Architect and improve database systems that store metadata about workflows and their outputs.
• Drive improvements to system performance and reliability for quick and accurate results.
• Participate in every phase of the software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to operations.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, mentor teammates, and document software for team maintenance.
