Job description

The RF Hardware Engineer for Google Pixel will be part of a team dedicated to developing custom silicon solutions for consumer electronics, specifically cellular phones. This role requires a solid background in RF systems design and experience in building and shipping consumer electronics products. The engineer will engage with cross-functional teams to define product architecture, ensuring optimal RF performance and cost efficiency. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience designing RF solutions for consumer electronics, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience in board-level and firmware debug, schematic creation, and PCB design.
  • Experience using RF equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and communication test boxes.

Responsibilities

  • Design cellular solutions for Pixel phones.
  • Design for volume manufacturing and support factory engineers from prototyping to product launch.
  • Be responsible for PCB design for optimal RF performance.
  • Work with component vendors and partners to develop the RF front end.
  • Support certification and compliance issues.
