This role combines technical and commercial leadership, focusing on transforming customer insights into measurable business outcomes. The Engineering Manager will oversee the quality and execution of consumer experiences while fostering a high-performing engineering team. The position is hybrid, based in New York City, and emphasizes collaboration across Product, Design, and Data teams.

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including technical ownership of production systems and business-critical customer experiences.
• 3+ years of direct people leadership experience, with ownership of hiring, coaching, and performance reviews.
• Experience leading engineering for consumer-facing web or mobile products measured through commercial or customer outcomes.
• Strong technical judgment with recent experience in code reviews and system-design reviews.
• Demonstrated success using experimentation and data to inform product and engineering decisions.
• Experience applying AI to customer products or engineering workflows.

• Drive measurable commercial impact by identifying customer problems and defining success metrics.
• Lead through experimentation by partnering with Product, Design, and Data to evaluate results and make informed decisions.
